In it's original 18th century Cambridge style binding, full leather with blindstamping to covers, 6 raised bands, and faded gilt tooling to spine with original morocco label.

Featuring 6 double-page engravings and a frontis engraving.

4 blank pages,[1 leaf frontis engraving, 1 title leaf], xlv, 1-328(327/328 misnumbered as 323/324), [1 leaf Title for 'Second Part'], xvi, 1-300,  [4 pages 'A Table of Diseases' and 'An Index'], 4 blank end leaves. Complete with 6 double-page engravings.

Exteriors show wear to edges, rubbing and cracking, bumped corners, chipping to the spine extremities, and wear to front and back leather joints (note that although leather is cracked and worn through at the exterior joints, covers remain firmly attached with the original cords). Interior pages show foxing, spotting and some toning throughout, page 130(Part 2) misnumbered page 128, and some creasing and wear to front and back blank endpapers. Otherwise pages are clean, large engravings are in fine condition, volume is square and tight, while retaining it's original  binding.
